Monday May 2, 2011, I am so proud of our soldiers after 10 yrs we have got the most evil person since Hitler.
This bin laden was a coward always getting others to die for his cause . Well he is going to see if he gets rivers of honey and the 72 virgins. I doubt very much that thier god wants people like that who are so evil.
Garden is looking great and the weather is better.

Making my snacks for the month frozen grapes, oranges, strawberries, are a great warm afternoon snack.

The picture is one of the four better boy plants bought from green house at West Union.
It is Monday and not been out yet but suppose to be a nice day.
I made a contact to Mexico on 40 meter last night he was 5-9 and he said I was to.
Well made it outside the weather is great for being out enjoying it a lot. Me and my brother planted more onions and hope to keep a steady until the weather warms and we switch the bed to beans till.fall and then go back to lettuce and onions.
Made my first trip to the wood shop hope to get to work on my projects before long. The ramps are good that Jr. Dug and brought me eating them in my salad.
Now I Sam so sick and tired of the royal wedding what is the big deal a spoiled. Rich brat is getting married while millions are out of work suffering and hungry the. News people act like this is the greatest thing that ever happen.

Well here it is the day the Lord arose from the tomb as he paid the debt that we who choose to believe will not parish it is written for GOD so loved the world he gave his only begotten SON to die for our sins.
Today it is raining so we will see if the old saying is true that it will rain seven Sundays in arow.
The garden look nice out in the backyard as I sit here praying and reading.
Hope to get in garage next week to get wood working underway watching woodwork video to learn more. Will be posting on that subject more with maybe videos of my own.

Planted today

Planted four tomatoes two early golath and super bush tomatoes in my containers add some miracle grow soil to each one. These plants came from IGA.
There were eight plants bought at the green house west union we will plant them next week the onions and lettuce are doing good the LORD is great how he makes thing grow. So we need to praise him every day it is through his grace and his creation we are here and living able to grow food and work in wood.

A trip to mailbox
By the temperature you would not have known it was the 3rd day of July and the first day of the Dog days of summer. Had several visitors to day and they all said the Garden was really growing as you can see by the video that I got my flowers pots put by the mailbox as i continue to try to make my pace look better as good as it did when i moved here but it is hard with me limited to working from chair but i believe it will take shape. I seen on fox news where we had no World War 1 monuments and was was unusual was the only living Veteran of WW1 was a resident of Charles Town West Virginia Frank Buckles is his name he is 108 years old imagine the history he has seen from mans first flight to man walking on moon and all the wars he has seen since he fought the war to end all wars.
I enjoyed my bible study today it was on healing and how Jesus is the same then and today

COOL DAY IN THE GARDEN
It was a cold day for July the second as it only neared 66 degrees and it was rainy and cool the garden looked good this day as it was in need of a gentle rain and it did that off and on many times today. Got my new bible study books and started to work again on them. Went up to roses yard sale tody got a wireless router gave to me and bought two plastic flower urns for my front walk near my mailbox. An a world globe for my radio room.
The bible verse that stood out to me during my study was I Peter 2:24 as it tells how Jesus suffered for our Sins the verse is from the New International version of the Bible{24..He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.}

It was a beautiful day here at my home had visitors to my hanging garden of beans, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes. I also harvested some cut flowers from my start at a flower garden they are a beautiful white. the garden seems to be doing well as I enjoy tending it i hope to add by next years three more raised beds and also a fall garden this year.

I was a great day here a day here as the sun shined most of the day it became cloudy though and we had a shower of rain around 5pm. The garden looked great as i done my normal photos so to keep track also front yard starting to take shape for i hope to get front porch cleaned off the lower fall bed on the left ramp and maybe one by garage to let me grow stuff I have to do something to keep busy My Bible study try to get first book done by Sunday. Also worked on verses for Sunday school I enjoy that very much.

Well there was more news on the quest of North Korea to build more Nuclear weapons and it is possible they 'll have missiles that can strike the western USA. I Know words don't mean much but we cannot let this happen as They 'l l surely hold us hostage with that threat and to think we would go back to 1960's when we were under constant readiest for a nuclear blast of crouching when we hear a siren.

Today was the 15Th of June was partly cloudy a light breeze had two different humming bird show up at the feeder today. had a treat baked the trout Jr. had caught it was real good had huge flakes of meat brings back memories of trout fishing at Bergoo in Webster County we always caped near the trestle a great meal was trout ramps fried potatoes

Hoed the beans out today should help them grow. All the other plants look great weather for area is partly cloudy showers likely tomorrow night and Wednesday and chance the rest of the week 83 and 58 degrees no rain today

There not much else going on working on my studies waiting for Tyler county 2 meter net to start.

Had a great day at church we started a new study series with different teaching Material every much like the books we use to use until we started new way there is more bible study.

I also started a 60 part study series this is the final series i have to complete unless the write up a more complex series I am enjoying it very much.

I got and unsuspected treat my cousin Jr caught a very nice Rainbow trout an i will have him for lunch tomorrow.

As you can see from the picture on the left my hanging garden is doing well cousin Jr could believe how they were growing.

This starts their third week of hanging and i am looking at heirloom seeds for a nice selection of fall seeds as there can be a second growing season if we can cover for the cold snap coming on October 20 of this year according to the farmers almanac http://www.almanac.com/garden/frostus.php

The rest of my plants are doing great please watched the video i have made of photos i took today.

Any container will make a place to plant your plants all you need is a drill to put holes to keep the water out you can put paper in the bottom to hold soil in it will rot up in soil and add nutrients to the soil i use that junk mail i got one good way to recycle it news paper or any paper will return to the soil you will need potting soil to.

These are my few basic garden tools a hoe and a shovel.

As seen here my brother John And Dan my friend are gwetting my yard and garden to looking very good with our version of hanging tomato planters and my raised bean bed is doing great with dirt bought from a local trucking company.

This is a great way to keep busy i also enjoy figuring out wild plant and from time to time I will try to Id the plants in my yard and surrounding little area around my little world....

As you can see from the photo above it was quite a cloudy and rainy day with some rumbles of thunder was around with a cool day in the seventies.

Use my first herbs from the small herb garden. The first was some thyme and oregano i added to my potato soup

I used potatoes celery carrots and salt black pepper and some fresh herbs with low fat milk this will be my soup of the week next week i love soup for my lunch with a wedge of corn bread .

My Half runner beans are doing good they seem to have been drawn right up out of the ground as they seem to grow over night. They are pictured on the left here.

One of the many containers of bush or bunch beans are doing well. as during the ladder part of the depression and World War Two all containers and areas were used and veges herbs were grown to help feed the people even thought many things shapes and sizes of containers were used You can compost the plants after bearing is done to make new soil come spring but the garden is never truly asleep during winter I will be trying many different things.

A sign of the times sense 9/11 people are on high alert and should be but when i was a boy people traveling would stop at our home near the church and ask if we had any food and there was never a thought of calling the cops well it may not have been possible. Mom would give they usually what she had jelly butter fresh baked bread or other items she had canned from our gardens we had a cow so we had milk if she didn't get into the wild onions that made the milk onion flavored. We had eggs and we had our own meats we butchered every year hogs and a beef for winter we had allot of chickens and ducks and ring neck pheasants to .

Now people call the law if someone knocks on their door wanting to sell something.

Any container can be used to make planters and you can grow a variety of vegtables with Items you no longer use around the house and the dollar or 99cents stores in your area for containers. the top left photo are little containers bought at a dollar zone store and the potting soil was bought from the local stores also and not that exspensive and can be reused for next year if you add by adding your own compost that you make from your on lawn and garden clippings the photo on the right is a little storage container all the conatainers must have holes to let the excess water drain away.

Well I am writing my first blog about my Garden and some of the experiments. like what my friend Dan called a garden in a bucket it holds a Bell pepper plants, cucumbers, and tomato plant this the black 7.5 gallon buc ket my brother john help me build using a mbucket he had and sponges bought at the local Dollar store.

A tornado is a violently rotating column of air extending from a thunderstorm to
the ground.
The average forward speed is 30 mph but may vary from nearly stationary to 70
mph.
Tornadoes can occur at any time of the year.
TORNADO SAFETY
IN HOMES OR SMALL BUILDINGS:
Go to the basement (if available) or to an interior room on the lowest floor, such as
a closet or bathroom. Wrap yourself in overcoats or blankets to protect yourself
from flying debris.
IN SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, FACTORIES, OR SHOPPING CENTERS:
Go to interior rooms and halls on the lowest floor. Stay away from glass enclosed
places or areas with wide-span roofs such as auditoriums and warehouses. Crouch
down and cover your head.
IN HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS:
Go to interior small rooms or halls. Stay away from exterior walls
or glassy areas.
IN CARS OR MOBILE HOMES:
ABANDON THEM IMMEDIATELY!! Most deaths occur in cars and mobile homes.
If you are in either of those locations, leave them and go to a substantial structure
or designated tornado shelter.
IF NO SUITABLE STRUCTURE IS NEARBY:
Lie flat in the nearest ditch or depression and use your hands to cover your head.

The map below shows the number of tornadoes reported in each
county from 1950 through November 2008.
West Virginia Tornado Facts
Strongest: The Shinnston tornado that ravaged a path of destruction from Shinnston to Cheat
Mountain, then on to Maryland and ending in Pennsylvania in the Allegheny Mountains,
on June 23, 1944 was the only twister to produce F4 damage in West Virginia.
Longest path: April 4, 1974 Tornado – 65 miles – covered McDowell, Wyoming, Raleigh,
Fayette, Summers and Greenbrier Counties.
Deadliest: The Shinnston tornado on June 23, 1944 - killed 103 people in West Virginia.
Widest: 300 yards - June 2, 1988 in Preston County near Glade Farms and on May, 21
1967 in Randolph County.
Costliest: June 2, 1988 in Preston County near Glade Farms - $ 7 million dollars in damage
and possibly the 1944 Shinnston tornado, no damage estimates were available.

All thunderstorms produce lightning and are dangerous. Lightning kills more people each year than tornadoes.
Lightning often strikes as far as 10 miles away from any rainfall. Many deaths from lightning occur ahead of the
storm because people try and wait to the last minute before seeking shelter. You are in danger from lightning if you
can hear thunder. If you can hear thunder, lightning is close enough that it could strike your location at any moment.
Get inside!!
Lightning injuries can lead to permanent disabilities or death. On average, 10% of strike victims die; 70% of
survivors suffer serious long term effects.
Blue Skies and Lightning. Lightning can travel sideways for up to 10 miles. Even when the sky looks blue and clear, be
cautious. If you hear thunder, take cover. At least 10% of lightning occurs without visible clouds overhead in the sky.
􀁡 There is NO safe place to be outside in a thunderstorm.
􀁡 If you can't get into a fully enclosed building or vehicle, do not seek shelter under
trees or partially open structures. Sitting or crouching on the ground is NOT safe and
should be your last resort.
􀁡 Avoid leaning against vehicles. Get off bicycles and motorcycles. Avoid metal! Don't
hold on to metal items such golf clubs, fishing rods, tennis rackets or tools.
􀁡 Get out of the water. It's a great conductor of electricity. Don't stand in puddles of
water, even if wearing rubber boots.
􀁡 Move away from a group of people. Stay several yards away from other people. Don't
share a bleacher bench or huddle in a group.

SEVERE WEATHER TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Warning - a particular weather hazard is either imminent or has been reported. A
warning indicates the need to take immediate action to protect life and property.
The type of hazard is reflected in the type of warning (e.g., tornado warning, blizzard
warning).
Watch - a particular hazard is possible, or when conditions support its occurrence. A watch is a recommendation for
planning, preparation, and increased awareness (i.e., to be alert for changing weather, listen for further information,
and think about what to do if the danger materializes).
Tornado - A violently rotating column of air in contact with the ground and extending from the base of a thunderstorm.
Severe Thunderstorm - A thunderstorm that produces tornadoes, hail 0.75 inches or more in diameter, or winds of
50 knots (58 mph) or more.
Straight-line Winds - Generally, any wind that is not associated with rotation, used mainly to differentiate them
from tornadic winds.
Flood - The condition that occurs when water overflows the natural or artificial confines of a stream or other body of
water, or accumulates by drainage over low-lying areas.
Flash Flood - A flood that rises and falls quite rapidly, usually as the result of intense rainfall over a relatively small
area. Usually it occurs within 6 hours of a rain event.
Slight Risk (of severe thunderstorms) - Implies well-organized severe thunderstorms are expected, but in small numbers
and/or low coverage.
Moderate Risk (of severe thunderstorms) - Indicates a potential for a greater concentration of severe thunderstorms
than the slight risk, and in most situations, greater magnitude of the severe weather.
High Risk (of severe thunderstorms) - Suggests a major severe weather outbreak is expected, with a high concentration
of severe weather reports and an enhanced likelihood of extreme severe (i.e., violent tornadoes or very damaging
convective wind events occurring across a large area).
Supercell - A thunderstorm with a persistent rotating updraft. Supercells are rare, but are responsible for a remarkably
high percentage of severe weather events - especially tornadoes, extremely large hail and damaging straight-line
winds.
Squall Line - A solid or nearly solid line or band of active thunderstorms.
Downburst - A strong downdraft resulting in an outward burst of damaging winds on or near the ground. Downburst
winds can produce damage similar to a strong tornado. Although usually associated with thunderstorms, downbursts
can occur with showers too weak to produce thunder.
Funnel Cloud - A condensation funnel extending from the base of a towering cumulus or cumulonimbus cloud, associated
with a rotating column of air that is not in contact with the ground (and hence different from a tornado). A condensation
funnel is a tornado, not a funnel cloud, if either a) it is in contact with the ground or b) a debris cloud or
dust whirl is visible beneath it.
Cold-air Funnel - A funnel cloud that can develop from a small shower or thunderstorm when the air aloft is unusually
cold (hence the name). On rare occasions, small, relatively weak tornado can occur. These weak tornadoes last
only a few minutes and are generally much less violent than other types of tornadoes.

FLOOD AND FLASH FLOOD SAFETY TIPS
• Monitor NOAA All Hazards Radio or your favorite news source for vital weather

• If flooding occurs, get to higher ground, away from areas subject to flooding.

• Do not drive around barriers that warn you the road is flooded. Some cities and

I set here i am down in the dumps this weekend as this week 12 years ago changed my life forever on this night at 9pm i got a call that my wife who i loved more than anything in the world had passed out when i got to where she works she was out but when i spoke she looked at me to say I am OK you be careful she had stood by me 12 years working to help me buy a nice home we both loved and helping after my accident that left me unable to work she saw me threw the loss of my mother and now she was in the hospital there were more tests then they said they called a neurosurgeon. then that very next morning he spoke to me and Donna and said you have a tumour and there is noway we can remove it..

As i sit here listening and we are discussing our times in the schools how thing change in our times we were punished and not rewarded worked to states on forty meters in Wisconsin and Idaho worked a Mobile 2 different counties as he traveled, Getting ready to check in to the WV phone net.
well I finished to projects i was working on an ready to started work on my fishing pole rack and dreaming of fishing trips I am hoping to take to go back to Conway and spruce knob lake and the other of the 17 lakes and rivers on my list.

Worked today on some wooden paper towel holders it is fun to make something some will use i have made three so far and working on one that will hold my black pepper shaker and a container of no salt I use this cause of my blood pressure.

Well it is march 11 2009 and i am excited about this year it is the best i have felt in along time i am working a lot of hf and i am enjoying my wood working so far for my room i have made me a DVD rack and a paper towel rack cause use allot of paper towels.
I have a list from DNR of 17 handicapped fishing areas with in 2 1/2 hour drive i hope to fish all seventeen plus north bend lake and Teter lake at Belington WV i cannot hunt always enjoyed fishing it is least dangerous if i get muscle twitch i cant shoot someone with fishing pole i have my new zebco 33 out at little johns i think i have him bring it out so i can begin to work and get my fishing tackle all done up want to get me at least 3 poles ready to go may even fix my old zebco 808 up and have it so i may do a little cat fishing i have at least four drivers and maybe more.
also hope to get my call sign on back of van and get my 10m emperor 50 10 in and a two meter and hope to get portable hf for net check ins i am cutting back on all expenses to hope to save money for fun..

This is new blog listing just to say what is going on well the same here as all over our country as prices eat up much all your income as with gasoline and food utilities we have to things we never thought possible before.
Have took over sunday school class as a teacher it is great to teach GOD'S WORD to others the class this fall quarter is on the first have of Genesis and i enjoy teaching that so much.
This past Wednsday I got to teach the 10 and 11th chapters of the book of revelations that was great teaching there about the TWO WITTNESSES and how they were to do the last have of the TRibulation.
The local Methodist Church is taking orders from a place called GREAT FOOD FOR ALL there is good buys plus easier to pick up they wi ll help you strech your food dolllars.

Had great time today at church. Not much else going on they are still drilling holes to see if they can locate any of the miners lost at the mine in Huntington Utah. Prayer are still needed there as it must really be hard on the families. Then there is the miners if still alive the thought going through their mines. wondering if the recuers are coming or not I pray that Jesus gives them strength.

I failed in two attempts at my extra class exams last night i missed by on questions i had to score 75 or above and I 74 each time i guess i am dumber than a box full of rocks as we used to say or dumber than a Hoe handle both are pretty dumb.
I as i might as well laugh over it when i was in school i took my grades serious and hated to fail any test but under school grades I would have squeaked through but if and extra class license was easy to obtain there would be no prestige in having one.
I still want people to pray that by a mircle the miners are alive in Utah but with each passing day it is less likly of them suriving..
The weather is cooled here yes by a whole 1 degree....

This verse fits today we need to pray one for another. After the terrible bridge collapse and to find out many of our bridge are in simlar conditions. The families and the victims need our prayers.

Was along night last night as I was watching the news of the bridge collapse and then there was the wild night on scanner with a murder very unsual for our small populated county. Then before that there was a high speed chase and a dog attack.

The above photos are of a Land turtle as it comes out of the mud at the east entrance of No. 8 tunnel on the North Bend Rail Trail. It is very hot and dry and moiste plkaces are getting hard to find for these animals as the weather seems to be going to be even drier than normal.
Had great day it was warm went about 6.5 miles on the trail. There is not much new as you can see from the three pictures below are of three areas i take pictures at to see how ot changes as we go into fall. there are so leaves turning but this is from the very intense dry weather.

TUESDAY
Just stopped to write a few words feeling better now but this morning i felt lousy must have been a Virus or something.
Was talking to jr while he was here last night we need to get antennas up for the winter so we can talk around I am glad that dad is getting back in to cb again it is great to hear Bullwinkle back on the radio. People dicard cb and amateur radio as something that is not needed well when all eles fails amateur radio and cb will still work we don't need electric a car battery will let us talk and if you are lucky enough to have solar trickle charger you can talk for days get news and warnings.
It is hot humid and yucky never went out today and will not tomorrow it is going to be even hotter morrow.
Had two treats today a big mac and fries then fresh stuff from garden that jr had planted.
you can buy and buy tomatoes at a store but when you get a home grown tomato they are twice as good. It is hard to believe that it was once thought tomatoes were poisoness.
Now my Grandma would never letus eat cucumbers unless they were peeled and let soak in salt water then you still had to eat bread with them.....

Commentary our outward man is perishing. The physical body is in the process of decay and will eventually die. On the surface Paul was referring to the normal aging process, but with the added emphasis that his lifestyle sped up that process. While not an old man, Paul wore himself out in ministry, both in the effort and pace he maintained, plus the number of beatings and attacks he absorbed from his enemies (cf. 6:4-10; 11:23-27). inward man. Well was Monday just not a good day just feel down. Went down the trail it was very hot today.

On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
But when Jesus heard this, He said, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. "But go and learn what this means: 'I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Commentary
9:12 Jesus overheard and answered, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick." The Pharisees considered themselves healthy and were unwilling to confess their need for Jesus. (Actually they were extremely ill spiritually and desperately needed healing.) The tax collectors and sinners, by contrast, were more willing to acknowledge their true condition and to seek Christ's saving grace. So the charge was true! Jesus did eat with sinners. If He had eaten with the Pharisees, the charge would still have been true-perhaps even more so! If Jesus hadn't eaten with sinners in a world like ours, He would always have eaten alone. But it is important to remember that when He ate with sinners, He never indulged in their evil ways or compromised His testimony. He used the occasion to call men to truth and holiness.
9:13 The Pharisees' trouble was that although they followed the rituals of Judaism with great precision, their hearts were hard, cold, and merciless. So Jesus dismissed them with a challenge to learn the meaning of Jehovah's words, "I desire mercy, and not sacrifice" (quoted from Hosea 6:6). Although God had instituted the sacrificial system, He did not want the rituals to become a substitute for inward righteousness. God is not a Ritualist, and He is not pleased with rituals divorced from personal godliness-precisely what the Pharisees had done. They observed the letter of the law but had no compassion for those who needed spiritual help. They associated only with self-righteous people like themselves.
In contrast, the Lord Jesus pointedly told them, "I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." He perfectly fulfilled God's desire for mercy as well as sacrifice. In one sense, there are no righteous people in the world, so He came to call all men to repentance. But here the thought is that His call is only effective for those who acknowledge themselves to be sinners. He can dispense no healing to those who are proud, self-righteous, and unrepentant-like the Pharisees.

Well it is another rainy day here in West Virgina as the chance of showers loom all weekend. We need more rain to help relieve the dry very dry conditions we haven had in this area for the last six to eight months.
Me and my cousin were talking last night remembering the goodtime we will never see no more hunting and fishing and frog gigging we have waited about every river and big stream in area as well as many ponds after the big bull frogs.
Remenbering hunting with a boy and that same week he was killed in a car accident a good kid who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
these time will nevr be no more as I am disabled and he is getting older turning from a walking hunter to a hunter who sets and leaves the brush beating to the younger boys.
the great times spent with his dad the master hunter knew more about the hunting and wildlife than anyone i ever have meant.
The times we spent working on and enjoying buthering hogs and beef a thing that is a lost art anymore.
Wondering what would happen to people if they were forced to live from the land again.

Daily Bible Verse - 7/26/2007 - Proverbs 20:27

Proverbs 20:27

The Light of the lord will light your way it will show all your sin so we need to be washed in the blood of Christ so when The LIGHT OF THE LORD shines us we will be as white as snow.

Word Study: CONSCIENCE

The term does not appear in the Old Testament but the concept does. David, for example, was smitten in his heart because of his lack of trust in the power of God (2 Sam. 24:10). But his guilt turned to joy when he sought the Lord's forgiveness (Psalm 32).In the New Testament the term "conscience" is found most frequently in the writings of the apostle Paul. Some people argue erroneously that conscience takes the place of the external law in the Old Testament. However, the conscience is not the ultimate standard of moral goodness (1 Cor. 4:4). Under both the old covenant and the new covenant the conscience must be formed by the will of God. The law given to Israel was inscribed on the hearts of believers (Heb. 8:10; 10:16); so the sensitized conscience is able to discern God's judgment against sin (Rom. 2:14-15).The conscience of the believer has been cleansed by the work of Jesus Christ; it no longer accuses and condemns (Heb. 9:14; 10:22). Believers are to work to maintain pure consciences. They also must be careful not to encourage others to act against their consciences. To act contrary to the urging of one's conscience is wrong, for actions that go against the conscience cannot arise out of faith (1 Cor. 8:7-13; 10:23-30).

I am getting tired of hearing on the nes of the spoiled brats and thier exploits we need to ignore there ways. Te sad thing is our KIDS look up to these people why cann't the news tell of good thing people do instead of reporting on this trah.

Well no photos today as I awoke to Rain Thunder, and Lightning. There is not much to write on today we were under a sever Thunder Stom warning for a short Time today that is why it is good to either have a scanner or a weather radio to keep up on local problems and hazards. The greatest problem is people say oh that will nevr happen here well maybe it will not we are not indanger here to the full brunt of a hurricane but the rains are a factor as we do have chance of flash floods and urban flooding is dangerous to as drains and storm sewer over flows. One thing for sure we need to have a good relationship with God he will see you through the rough times and make the good times even better.\

The day was another great show of Gods Handy Work. The butterflies are plentyful as they work the many wildflowers along the trail this is a totally diffrent butterfly than I have photographed.

The day was another cool day for a July Day was quite enjoyable.

This a land turtle many of which have made their home along the trail.

A thought for today is we need to be prepared for trouble as there is only one person we can count on is Jesus but we need to help our selves a kit with our needs food water at least enough to do 72 hours and candles .

and matches batteries flashlight a battery radio for news it would hurt to have a scanner to keep up on local warnings. Also in this kit a bible would help in conforting .

Daily Bible Verse - 7/23/2007 - Romans 8:1-2

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. (NIV)

All things are possible in Christ he payed the debt off for our sins but we have to ask him to save us from our sins. It is there for the asking he dose not force to follow him but if we dont want to perish we had better.

The above pictures shows a very great Sunday here as I roll up the trail from church to my home i can only say days like this are truly the work Of God as the peacefuness of a Sunday as you go home from a day of fellowship.

The news is still frustrating to me how could someone like Micheal Vick a person who is roll model for kids be involved in a senseless sport like Dog fighting. It seems to me that our youth today has no good role models are athletes are using drugs to enhance the abilties where is the there any sport for some one to win and be on preformance enhacing drugs .

When I was a kid in school we prayed said the pledge allegance and the teacher was allowed to paddle us if we were out of line and that wasn't the worst of it you got in trouble for it at home.

Now days kids dont have chores to preform each day like we use to I can remember feeding the hogs and the other animals before school and working in the garden when getting home plus I had to do my school work .

Been studing the emergecy training and it is quite scary to think what could happen if we had a promblen on the eastern seaboard of this country one tank of gas from the Washington DC area will put you in the area of Parkersburg and to east in to our county what would we do for an influx of people with limited space and infrastructure this area could not handle this.

1 Thessalonians 5:14CommentaryThis verse seems to be addressed to the spiritual leaders of the congregation; it tells them how to deal with problem brothers:1. Warn those who are unruly-those who won't keep in step but insist on disturbing the peace of the church by their irresponsible behavior. Here the unruly are those who refuse to work. They are the same as those described in 2 Thessalonians 3:6-12, walking disorderly, not working, but being busybodies.2. MINERAL WELLS — When Wood County Assessor Steve Grimm got a phone call asking him about Australians buying up property in Mineral Wells, he thought it was a joke.“Last Tuesday someone called, saying they were from Bloomberg and started asking me what I thought about the Australians buying up property in Mineral Wells. Frankly, I thought some one was joking,” he said.In reality, what Grimm learned later was an Australian firm had purchased the holding company that has as an asset a warehouse/office building and 7.5 acres in the Mineral Wells area, which is the property of the Bureau of Public Debt. “I wasn’t seeing any transfer of property or any indication the property changed hands, and I kept telling them that. Apparently this holding company bought it. There won’t be any deed transfer, and the building’s use will not change, so outwardly there won’t be any change; no one would know,” Grimm said. “They made it sound like there was a run of foreign investors in Wood County, which may not necessarily be bad if they brought economic development and jobs.“After the initial phone call, someone contacted me wanting to bring in television cameras. They actually contracted with some freelance camera guys from Ohio to come down here and film the building and interviewed me on camera. It was kind of strange. I don’t think after they found out what it really was that they ever aired the story,” Grimm said.“It must be big news from their end. It won’t change anything significantly here. They are just buying the equity, I’m assuming, and seeing the worth of being able to get more for their money in the smaller areas,” he said.After showing up on the Internet recently, the story raised quite a few eyebrows locally. The story that appeared on USA Business Asia by Bloomberg and on the Internet by the International Herald Tribune said Australian property investors “find a haven in small town.”The article, written by David M. Levitt, said the executive director of Record Realty said he considered buying in Washington before his company acquired Government Properties Trust in April for $223 million.“The takeover gave Record Realty 22 properties spread across 14 states, including a warehouse in Mineral Wells, which has a population 1,860 and more than two hours by car from Columbus, Ohio, the nearest major city,” according to the article.Record Realty paid $275 a square foot for Government Properties, or about a third the going rate for office buildings in New York, according to the article on the Internet. In another reference to the area, the article calls it “Mineral Springs.”According to Levitt’s article, the director expects “Record Realty to make a 7.1 percent return in the first year of owning Government Properties. The buildings are all leased to federal and local government agencies. Well had a real good day today. I rode down the trail caught out the corner of my eye a bob cat down where I seen the turkeys he was probally after the young ones. Took a few Pictures today. finished Unit 3 on E.M. E. S. Also finished the unit 2 of online bible school and sent in my tests.

Well since Saturday according to my gps I am use while in my chair I have been 18 miles had a average speeded at 3.8 mile per hour and max at 13.5 mile per hour.
The wildflowers are in the change of going into the many different colors as fall slowly approches as today there are 65 days left till fall.

Red clover as it blooms the blooms are very sweet.

A butterfly as it flutters along the trail.

Cattails they grow in wet areas are eatable the roots taste simalar to potatoes.

A young whitetail fawn as it wanders along the trail..
The weather here to day was very hot and humid. Worked on my studies and also worked an took sherri's exam and made one of my own.

I am reposting this picture as I set here listening to the police on the scanner as they talk about the people who shot a bunch of deer and just left them lay to rot. That is so mean and wasteful it is no problem shooting deer for food but to kill a bunch let them lay in the farmrs fieldto rot. Also they are apparently shooting mailboxes that is also stupid an very dangerous. Iam done griping now.
The day was very nice and enjoyabe to ride down the trail and along the way I met a very nice old couple who wre riding the trail and ten i run on to Chuck WB8NSL and we talked about the repeater and the hope of getting the antenna on the UHF repeater.

The news that caught my attention today was that the Head of Home Land Sercurity said he had a gut feeling we would have another terrorist attack on US soil.

Well it was another waarm one here in Pennsboro today not much to report on as the weather is hot and I am wondering where the wild animals are doing for water.
Never seen no turkeys today saw a deer and two rabbits. Yesterday I seen about 15 turkeys two hen and several young ones the

As you roll along you pass trees like this young tulip poplar that is reclaiming the area was kept clean by the railroad.

First we are assured that God has made full provision for us to have a life of holiness. This provision is said to be an evidence of His power: His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Just as His power saves us in the first place, so His power energizes us to live holy lives from then on. The order is-first life, then godliness. The gospel is the power of God to save from the penalty of sin and from its power, from damnation and from defilement.
The all things that pertain to life and godliness include the high priestly work of Christ, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the activity of angelic agencies on our behalf, the new life we receive at conversion, and the instruction of the word of God.
The power to live a holy life comes through the knowledge of Him who called us. Just as His divine power is the source of holiness, so the knowledge of Him is the channel. To know Him is eternal life (John 17:3) and progress in knowing Him is progress in holiness. The better we get to know Him, the more we become like Him.

The above picture was tooken today as i went for a 6 mile ride on my power chair I love getting out it makes me feel great That is why I hate winter so much I would like to see it stay warm way into november or december where i can get out to see the changes in the trail as it goes from summer to fall and fall to winter being couped up in cold weather is terrible....

Well it rained hear today and thundering here right now i had a great day I am on my fourth amateur extra test and doing good I have a 92% average on the first three with a 80% on the Fourth. I my Bible study I am on the 20th book and I enjoy it alot also got me two d Flattop guitars an have worked on the scales.
My aunt sent up some old records of her husbands family it is quite interesting to look at the old writing and some of the tragedies of life like having three children die of the fever in 22 days in Januraryof 1865 .

Well believe it or not it is the 4th of July I guess as you get older times fly had a great day started out got up and went down the trail and b ack the to my sister Rose's for a cook out had great time. Set with dad and Jr Davis . Then back down the trail I enjoy meeting and talking to friends and even the strangers that pass a long the trail
Now this Bible verse means a lot as Americans we need to listen to it if we want to remain free and as a nation we are missing this the power of god in our Government.

Well another day has come and gone not much going on a bad wreck near Cario and shcool starts here in Ritchie County tomorrow.
I read in the Paper that our court house is the only one in the state with out a good handi-cap ramp well there is other goverment buildings in this county that way the office used for city elections a person in a wheelchair cann't vote the library here in town has what they call a ramp but coming out you will go face first ion the middle of Wv STate Rt 74 as i did last year I would like to go to the Library. But this county and city makes you feel like yopu don't need to go them places.
Now the people at north Bend are a different story when I emailed them that on the trail there was a gate that kept me fom trail to town they were glad to help.

As I was going down the rail trail in my chair today I came up on a wild hen turkey and her brood of eight crossing the trail this was a great sight twenty years ago the wild turkey was totally gone from our area of West Virginia. With help of hunters, the DNR and local farmers the wild turkey have made a huge come back. This what makes it so special to have a chair like my Jazzy 1420 to have capability to get out a long the trail to see these sights. I am returning to this section of trail tomorrow with my camera to get pictures of them.

This was a great day I got to do something I never ever thought I would do I got to go to Long Johns that was a a treat I never thought I could go there It has been eleven or more years since I have got to gp there the fish was hot and fresh I had chicken Planks and if it was not for my best friend taking to me and showing me I can get out and enjoy I know that don't sound like much but that was areal treat.
It was sunny today the morning was foggy the hottest today was 90 with low of 66 currently 81 and sunny.

Yesterday was the hottest day I have had for a long time there was a lightning strike that hit the power sub station tat resulted in a 23 hour blackout with temperatures near a hundred the heat became unbearable many of my friends who where on oxygen had trouble breathing as they almost ran out of oxygen their oxygen machines were not working. I guess you never miss electric till it is gone

Well the 440 machine and northern 911 tower took a lightning strike yesterday. Only damage was to the surge protectors and the pre-amp on WB8NSL 442.850 machine.

It is storming around the area today very hot humid outside today. I went out side today I was able to go from my room to the BACKDOOR WITH OUT RUNNING OVER A PAIR OF SHOES OR A PAIR OF SOCKS THAT SMELLED LIKE DEAD SNUNK WHO HAD JUST ATE A PILE OF COW S///. I am getting my house in shape with the help of my bestest friend and my other friends.

Well Derek and Amber and Aaron and Sherri got the mess cleaned up that Curtis made he is the messiest one person. The bills he gets he never opens them and I try to pay mine and he don't pay but he will have if it hold up till he gets out the greatest thing that can happen is him get out where I can live in peace where I can have dishes and silverware go throughout he house with out smelling his s---.

Out and about the glass festival parade and just sitting and talking to friend and enjoying getting out all except one person Bill Wilson came up and ruined my day he told me I needed to stay in and loose more weight.
