Daily Bible Verse - 8/13/2007 - Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Commentary
Along with Ps. 32, it (Psalm 51) was written by David after his affair with Bathsheba and his murder of Uriah, her husband (2 Sam. 11-12). It is one of 7 poems called penitential psalms (6, 32, 38, 51, 102, 130, 143). To David's credit, he recognized fully how horrendous his sin was against God, blamed no one but himself, and begged for divine forgiveness.MacArthur, J. J. (1997, c1997). The MacArthur Study Bible (electronic ed.) (Ps 51:1). Nashville: Word Pub."Create in me a clean heart"The verb translated create is the same one used in Gen. 1:1 and refers to what only God can do.

Had great time today at church. Not much else going on they are still drilling holes to see if they can locate any of the miners lost at the mine in Huntington Utah. Then there is the miners if still alive the thought going through their mines. wondering if the recuers are coming or not I pray that Jesus gives them strength.
Daily Bible Verse - 8/12/2007 - Psalm 43:4

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
Commentary
Notice the progression (from the previous verse) to verse 4:To Your holy hill;To Your tabernacle; To the altar of God;To God my exceeding joy.The true worshiper is satisfied with neither a geographical location nor a building nor an altar. He must get through to God Himself!

I failed in two attempts at my extra class exams last night i missed by on questions i had to score 75 or above and I 74 each time i guess i am dumber than a box full of rocks as we used to say or dumber than a Hoe handle both are pretty dumb.
I as i might as well laugh over it when i was in school i took my grades serious and hated to fail any test but under school grades I would have squeaked through but if and extra class license was easy to obtain there would be no prestige in having one.
I still want people to pray that by a mircle the miners are alive in Utah but with each passing day it is less likly of them suriving..
The weather is cooled here yes by a whole 1 degree....

Daily Bible Verse - 8/10/2007 - Ephesians 2:4-5
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
I would hate to think where this world would be with out the Grace of God and Jesus paying the Price for our Sins not his sins but my sins your sins everybody has been bailed out from the wages of sin..
Commentary2:4
mercy .. love. Salvation is for God's glory by putting on display His boundless mercy and love for those who are spiritually dead because of their sinfulness.2:5 when we were dead .. made us alive. Far more than anything else, a spiritually dead person needs to be made alive by God. Salvation brings spiritual life to the dead. The power that raises believers out of death and makes them alive (cf. Rom. 6:1-7) is the same power that energizes every aspect of Christian living (cf. Rom. 6:11-13).MacArthur, J. J. (1997, c1997). GRACE
Grace - Favor or kindness shown without regard to the worth or merit of the one who receives it and in spite of what that person deserves. Grace is one of the key attributes of God. The Lord God is "merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth" (Ex. 34:6). Therefore, grace is almost always associated with mercy, love, compassion, and patience. The theme of grace is especially prominent in the letters of Paul. He sets grace radically over against the law and the works of the law (Rom. 3:24, 28). Paul makes it abundantly clear that salvation is not something that can be earned; it can be received only as a gift of grace (Rom. 4:4). Grace, however, must be accompanied by faith; a person must trust in the mercy and favor of God, even while it is undeserved (Rom. 4:16; Gal. 2:16).

It was what I think the hottest we had yet as they are warning people to stay in as much as possible...

As for other things I am taking my extra class test tomorrow night and I hope I can pass there is over 500 questions in this and the tests picks 50 of them at random and it is very hard as they will change the question word wise they are the same question making it more diffcult. tyThis question pools was et by hams who want make it more diffcult to get new hams into the hobby....

Other things going on is the miners in Utah the head of that mine has a problem he cares nothing for the men who are trapped.

The weather is do to globle warming well I dont know but if it follows this pattern we can exspect a wet winter.

God will protect us from all the evils of the all we need is faith in Jesus that he died for our sins.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

As I was shaving today i got a thought a mirror shows what your out sides look like but what is in your heart and mind shows how you are on the inside often someone can be very beautful on the outside and have a very poor personality.assomeone can not be pretty and have a good personalty that makes up for their looks and is a lot more beautiful that the prettiest person in the world.
Todays Bible Verse: Proverbs 27:19
As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man
Commentary
Thoughts reflect a person's true character
Word Study:
HeartHEART - the inner self that thinks, feels, and decides. In the Bible the word "heart" has a much broader meaning than it does to the modern mind. The heart is that which is central to a person. Nearly all the references to the heart in the Bible refer to some aspect of human personality. In the Bible all emotions are experienced by the heart: love and hate (Ps. 105:25; 1 Pet. 1:22); joy and sorrow (Eccl. 2:10; John 16:6); peace and bitterness (Ezek. 27:31; Col. 3:15); courage and fear (Gen. 42:28; Amos 2:16).The thinking processes are said to be carried out by the heart. This intellectual activity corresponds to what would be called "mind" in English. Thus, the heart may think (Esth. 6:6), understand (Job 38:36), imagine (Jer. 9:14), remember (Deut. 4:9), be wise (Prov. 2:10), and speak to itself (Deut. 7:17). Decision-making is also carried out by the heart. Purpose (Acts 11:23), intention (Heb. 4:12), and will (Eph. 6:6) are all activities of the heart. Finally, heart often means someone's true character or personality. Purity or evil (Jer. 3:17; Matt. 5:8); sincerity or hardness (Ex. 4:21; Col. 3:22); and maturity or rebelliousness (Ps. 101:2; Jer. 5:23)-all these describe the heart or true character of individuals. God knows the heart of each person (1 Sam. 16:7). Since people speak and act from their hearts, they are to guard them well (Prov. 4:23; Matt. 15:18-19). The most important duty of anyone is to love God with the whole heart (Matt. 22:37). With the heart a person believes in Christ and so experiences both love from God and the presence of Christ in the heart (Rom. 5:5; 10:9-10; Eph. 3:17).

Well Sunday it rained must of the day had good Sunday school discussion on what was goliaths actual heit many of the bibles didn't agree on what a cubit equaled in inches it can vary depending on the length of the finger tip and the elbow this would vary from person to the person at 6 cubits on span he was huge at over 10 ft. He was beat by davbid with brains of power but the faith David had in God. Through God all things are possible if we have faith...
Today Bible Passage
Exodus 15:11
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Commentary
"Who is like You" - Many times, the Bible uses this language of incomparability to describe the true God. In a world in which there were many supposed gods, the Lord was unique. He alone is God. He is not just better than other gods; there are no other gods. No person, god, or thing can be compared to the one true God (Ps. 96:4, 5; Is. 40:25, 26; Mic. 7:18). Fearful means that God inspired wonder, worship, and obedience from the Israelites.

As I set here listening to Fox News I Get upset to see the that many of the Radical Muslims are rejoicing in the bridge collapse. We would never rejoice in their people being killed. And to say that their God had done it is another way to spread their violent way.
The Daily Bible Verse
Psalm 37:4
Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commentary Find all your joy and pleasure in His will. Make Him your delight, and your desires will be in His will. Living to please the Lord sets you free from fretting about what men are doing.Wiersbe, W. W. (1997, c1991). With the word Bible commentary (Ps 37:1). Nashville: Thomas Nelson.Did you know? Psalm 37 is one of several alphabetical psalms (Ps. 9 and 10 together; 25; 34; 37; 111; 112; 119; 145). In Hebrew each succeeding verse begins with the next letter of the alphabet. The Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters, so these psalms should have 22 verses. In Psalm 37 every other He brew line begins alphabetically, but there aren't 44 verses because some of the English verses are so long they break the pattern.

Daily Bible Verse - 8/2/2007 - Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,and by his wounds we are healed. (NIV)But he was pierced for our transgressions,he was crushed for our iniquities;the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,and by his wounds we are healed. (KJV)But He was pierced through for our transgressions,He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,And by His scourging we are healed. (NASB)Isaiah 53:5CommentaryThis verse is filled with the language of substitution. The Servant suffered not for His own sin, since He was sinless (cf. Heb. 4:15; 7:26), but as the substitute for sinners. The emphasis here is on Christ being the substitute recipient of God's wrath on sinners (cf. 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 1:3,4; Heb. 10:9,10). chastisement for our peace. He suffered the chastisement of God in order to procure our peace with God. by His stripes we are healed. The stripe (the Heb. noun is singular) that caused His death has brought salvation to those for whose sins He died. Peter confirms this in 1 Pet. 2:24.MacArthur, J. J. (1997, c1997). The Daily Bible Verse
James 5:16

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (KJV)
This verse fits today we need to pray one for another. After the terrible bridge collapse and to find out many of our bridge are in simlar conditions. The families and the victims need our prayers.
Commentary
By way of encouraging both elders and Christians to this kind of intercession for those in spiritual weakness, James reminds them that such prayer is effective. Effective translates energeĊ, from which our English word "energy" derives. The prayer of a righteous man (cf. 4:3; Ps. 66:18; Prov. 15:8; 28:9), James notes, can accomplish much (literally "is very strong"). Weak prayers come from weak people; strong prayers come from strong people. The energetic prayers of a righteous man are a potent force in calling down the power of God for restoring weak, struggling believers to spiritual health. To further demonstrate the power of righteous prayer and provide an illustration that captures the essence of his discussion, James turns to one of the most popular Old Testament figures. Elijah, he reminds his readers, though a prophet and man of God, was a man with a nature like ours. The Bible records that he was hungry (1 Kings 17:11), afraid (1 Kings 19:3), and depressed (1 Kings 19:3, 9-14). Yet when he prayed earnestly (lit. "he prayed with prayer"), incredible things happened: It did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit. Elijah's prayers both created and ended a devastating three-and-one-half-year drought (cf. Luke 4:25). While 1 Kings 17 records the drought, only James gives its duration and links it to the prayers of Elijah.MacArthur, J. (1998). James (280). Chicago, Ill.: Moody Press.Did you know? In the Old Testament, the priest was also the physician. It was he who diagnosed leprosy, and it was he who pronounced it cured, for instance.

2 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
We do not want to lose heart each day we will be renewed by the grace of God. The freshing grace is available to all of us if we ask for it God will pour his blessing on us if we have faith and strive to do his work........
Commentary our outward man is perishing. The physical body is in the process of decay and will eventually die. On the surface Paul was referring to the normal aging process, but with the added emphasis that his lifestyle sped up that process. While not an old man, Paul wore himself out in ministry, both in the effort and pace he maintained, plus the number of beatings and attacks he absorbed from his enemies (cf. 6:4-10; 11:23-27). inward man. The soul of every believer i.e., the new creation-the eternal part of the believer (cf. Eph. 4:24; Col. 3:10). being renewed. The growth and maturing process of the believer is constantly occurring. While the physical body is decaying, the inner self of the believer continues to grow and mature into Christlikeness (cf. Eph. 3:16-20).MacArthur, J. J. (1997, c1997).
